Wilson Pickett / Ukulele Afternoon: A KRUD Followup

As a followup to my recent post about Wilson Pickett and his song “Everybody Needs Somebody to Love”, I thought I should remind you of a post I did about a year and a half ago about a Japanese ukulele group called Ukulele Afternoon – they do a cover of “Everybody Needs Somebody to Love”, and it’s a really good job for only being performed with ukuleles!

I’ve noticed they’ve updated their site recently… there’s a half-dozen or so songs that you can find, you just need to poke around some in order to find them.

I wouldn’t mind having a cd of this to listen to… their music from “In The Park” (while not really like anything you’ve usually heard) is nice and makes me think of summer days. I always end up wondering what other songs they might have done…
